NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

YOU WILL PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the City Council for the City of Elgin will hold a public special City Council meeting on Tuesday, April 28, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. at Elgin City Hall located at 170 Main Street East, Elgin, Minnesota. Said public special meeting shall be held at the request of Gurek Inc. on the issue of the City Council approving a 30-day suspension of Gurek Inc.’s tobacco license and a $75 fine for said suspension. The suspension is set to begin May 1, 2026. The physical location owned by Gurek Inc. impacted by this suspension and fine is 15 2nd Avenue NE, Elgin, MN 55932.
